Are EVs suitable for business leasing?

 

Yes - Electric Vehicles (EVs) are increasingly popular for business fleets, particularly for drivers with predictable daily mileage. Lease costs are often competitive thanks to lower list prices after the plug-in grant, and businesses benefit from lower benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax on fully electric vehicles. It's worth checking charging infrastructure at your premises or employees' homes before committing.


Can employees charge EVs at home and reclaim the cost?

 

Yes. HMRC allows businesses to reimburse employees for home charging at an approved pence-per-mile rate without a tax liability. Alternatively, companies can install home chargers for employees – the cost may be claimable as a business expense. A clear charging policy should be in place before vehicles are delivered.

From only £294 Per Month + VAT, the Hyundai KONA Electric 65kWh N Line is available for business leasing customers with an inital payent of £3,527 + VAT. The Hyundai KONA is packed with safety features.

Our MG IM6 is ideal for fleet operations that cover up to 5,000 miles per annum. Available from only £347 per month + VAT with an initial rental payment of £4,170 + VAT, the IM6 is a great deal for small businesses and larger organisations alike. 

The Škoda Elroq is one of our most popular vehicles for both private customers and business leasing. An initial payment of £3,454 + VAT based off 8,000 miles per year on a 36 month Business Contract Hire agreement could cost a business just £288 + VAT per month.

The Škoda Kodiaq is a versatile SUV that provides businesses with the additional space for their fleet operations.
