The KONA comes in multiple different trims and variants, as well as a wide range of engine and gearbox options from manual petrol to a fully electric motor. The KONA electric has an impressive range of up to 319 miles on a full charge, and with fast charging available from Hyundai's charging company of choice, Ohme.

For people not yet ready to take the leap and fully commit to electric, the hybrid KONA offers the best of both worlds; a traditional internal combustion engine as well as a 42kWh battery for reduced engine emissions.

All variants: the petrol, electric and hybrid models offer 1,300 litres of boot space with the rear seats down. With the seats up, there's still an ample 466 litres of space for luggage - which is plenty for a family trip away or even the weekly shop.

The KONA's Euro NCAP rating of 4/5 reflects the car's strong structure and safety features. Lane-Keep-Assist is a standard feature across the entire KONA range, as well as Hyundai's Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert.
