Introducing the MGS9 Plug-In Hybrid

The MGS9 Plug-in Hybrid is MG's first seven-seat SUV, and it has been named Best Hybrid 7-Seat SUV at the What Car? Electric Car Awards 2026. Three full rows of seats give the whole family room to travel in comfort, and folding the third row away opens up 1,026 litres of boot space for holidays and bigger loads.

A 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine works alongside an electric motor and a 24.7kWh battery, giving you up to 62 miles of electric-only driving. For many drivers that covers the school run and the daily commute without using any petrol, while the engine is there for longer journeys with no need to plan around charging stops. Low CO2 emissions also make the MGS9 a strong choice for company car drivers looking to keep their Benefit-in-Kind tax down.
